Today I'd like to make a special shout out to Barbara Boxer. You have really made my day. No, I'm not being cynical or snarking on her. I'm really pleased, giddy, actually. Many people are all pissed off and grumpy about what she dared say to Condi. "It was an uncalled for attack!" "What a mean partisan hacktevist!" "Barbara is just a mean person!"
Sorry, I just can't be the mean repug on this one. It's just too funny.
The fact of the matter is all she did was embarass herself. The point of the hearing was to question her about subjects, not to scold her for being a "liar".
The thing I want to thank Barbara most for is giving conservative bloggers everywhere something juicy to blog about. I've seen at least three articles about it on Blogs for Bush alone! So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Barbara for giving us all some good material.
I guess this goes back to the "If everyone was jumping off a bridge" article. Please stay tuned for I nice long article about my new-found favorite headliner! Love ya' Barbie!
