I'm sure everyone is getting sick of me harping about how cool the potentiality of peace between Israel and Palestine may be. I'm sure you think that nothing will come up it and there's no sence wasting my time talking about it.
Well, tough. Suck it up. Too bad. I'm talking about it and there's nothing any one of you can do about it. (Borrows evil vincent price laugh from DC. This is the opportunity of a lifetime. First Afghanistan, tomorrow Iraq and after a couple of weeks Sharon and Abbas will be at the table for negotiations. Hooray! The only thing that needs to happen now is for Iran to have a rebellion, and that's not too far fetched.
This isn't exactly a guarantee of things to come. Yasser had gone to the table many times and always went home empty handed. He refused sensible negotiations every time. The only possible excuse is that Sharon was just not capable of proper negotiations. Well, we'll see how this all goes down in a couple of weeks.
