Melbourne is looking to be the San Francisco of Australia. Strangely enough they have to take the title away from Sydney's actively gay population to get it. But Melbourne's openly gay city council member, Gary Singer, thinks with a little bit of work they can take the crown...wait...no...take the tiara.
And all this time I was hoping they'd try to be Austraila's new lower Manhattan.
